Tomorrow by Together Enters ‘MTV VMAs’

On September 1, The agency Big Hit Music said, “The group Tomorrow by Together (TXT / Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai) will be putting on a very special debut performance at this year at VMAs in the shortest period since debut in the history of K-pop artists. “We have become an artist entered into the MTV Video Music Awards”.

‘MTV VMAs’ announced the news of Tomorrow by Together’s appearance on the official website and SNS on the 31st of last month.

They attended this awards ceremony for the first time since their debut and were nominated for awards in two categories, including ‘PUSH Performance of the Year’ and ‘Best K-Pop’, and were selected as performers. They boasted the status of a ‘global K-pop leader’.

In particular, they appeared on the ‘MTV VMAs’ stage 4 years and 6 months after their debut in March 2019, becoming the group to perform at this awards ceremony in the shortest period of time since debut among K-pop artists of all time.

Tomorrow by Together plans to unveil the new song stage for the first time at the ‘2023 MTV VMAs’ to be held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA on the 12th. It is known that Brazilian pop star Anitta will perform on this stage, raising expectations around the world.

The new song is a song that will be released in advance of Tomorrow by Together’s comeback with their 3rd full-length album ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’ on October 13th, and the awards ceremony performance is expected to heat up the comeback atmosphere.

The ‘MTV VMAs’ are considered one of the four major American pop music awards ceremonies, along with the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Music Awards.
